With over 1000 respondents in the U.S, we found out how shoppers are actually discovering, searching, and purchasing products in-store and online. The survey equips retailers and brands with invaluable insights into the key trends within visual commerce and role it is playing in shaping today's retail landscape. 

 

Some key insights:

  • 40% shoppers find it challenging to locate a product that they want to purchase after discovering it in an image/ video or offline.
  • 87% of shoppers would be more likely to buy a product if it was easily searchable with an image search function on their smartphones.
  • 65% of US respondents make at least one purchase a month after discovering a product on social media.
  • Nearly 80% of consumers are using their smartphones for in-store shopping experiences.
