ViSenze Announces Leadership Changes and New Appointment

Changes mark key focus areas to drive future growth and profitability .

SINGAPORE – September 16, 2020 – ViSenze, the artificial intelligence company powering visual commerce, today announced a new appointment and leadership updates to strengthen its business operations. This signals the company’s renewed commitment to position for growth in a  post COVID world. 

Adding bench strength to the leadership team is Rob Mathewson, who joins ViSenze as Global Head of Solutions. In this newly created role, Rob will lead the Solutions team, a client engagement practice within ViSenze responsible for designing, creating, delivering and supporting Visual AI solutions for enterprise clients across retail and ecommerce. A veteran of 20 years, Rob has held various roles in solution consulting, engineering, and client services. His prior role before joining ViSenze was Director of Solutions Architecture at Whispir.

Helping retailers and brands make this digital transformation with AI solutions becomes a key focus for us. I am very happy to have Rob join as our first Global Solution Head. The company further announced two promotions in the leadership team.  

Judy Ho who heads Finance and Legal functions becomes Head of Finance, Legal and Governance. Reflecting a stronger emphasis on data governance, Judy will ensure high standards of data compliance and information security internally, and for clients and partners who will expect the same. ViSenze is today compliant to key governance standards such as GDPR and PDPA, with which Judy has been instrumental in elevating the practice.

Hwan Park who joined ViSenze as Country Manager for South Korea and Japan becomes Regional Head of APAC. In this expanded role, Hwan will lead commercial and business development across Asia Pacific countries, including building partnerships with network partners in Greater China, South Korea, Japan and South East Asia in addition to driving Enterprise sales in APAC.
